Chestfields Multi Purpose Cleaner. If you are looking for a quick and easy multi purpose cleaner then this one is a must have. We first tested this on a very greasy, dirty rope halter and lead rope, a few squirts of the cleaner and left for a few minutes and the grime simply dissolved and formed a mucky puddle under the halter. Once rinsed with warm water the halter and lead rope looked brand new. So no scrubbing, no need to leave to soak and no risk of the halter loosing its shape and loosening the knots by being put in the washing machine. We then used this cleaner on our rope bitless bridles with the same fantastic results. It can be used for a wide range of equine cleaning jobs e.g. grooming kits, buckets, bits, etc… This fast acting cleaner is also anti bacterial, it leaves no residue or smell.
Magloc. Wow…we tested the Magloc and what an innovative and beautifully designed product. The Magloc helps you to connect two parts together fast and simply. Ideal for attaching to lead ropes as horses can get spooked and this enables a safe fast way of release. Plus when you catch a horse the Magloc by magnetic action joins together fast and smoothly, it eliminates fumbling with catches and clips. This safe fast release can be done one handed so ideal for many practical equine uses, we used it to hang haynets, as an additional safety catch on a stable door and on a paddock gate and on breech straps in a trailer.
Rubber Stable Matting Having your stable fitted out with stable matting will save you lots of time in mucking out. You will use less bedding saving you money and as less bedding is used it reduces the size of the muck heap too. I love my rubber matting and I am delighted with the product. I have recently had another stable fitted with rubber mats by Equi-Tread and I am delighted with the mats, the quick service I received and the very professional job done when the mats were fitted.
Emvelo's Stable + This product makes a massive difference to the environment of your horse’s stable. There are many benefits for using this product. We discovered the stable lost the nasty ammonia smell very quickly. This is a great benefit as it makes your horse’s environment naturally healthier and more pleasant place for him to live. Stable + is a different approach to using disinfectants. A disinfectant kills all micro-organisms and your stable stays fresh for a short while, then the race is on for the bad micro-organisms to return along with the nasty ammonia smell. With regular use of Stable + the environment stays in favour of the good micro-organisms which in turn reduces the number of bad micro-organisms so the stable looses the nasty smell. Mucking out was easier and more pleasant as the bedding was drier so less was taken out each day. Plus the horse’s droppings changed they became drier and less odorous. Used as a misting spray it also helps suppress dust. Stable + is a blend of water soluble natural probiotic culture (beneficial micro-organisms), aromatherapy oils, and edible vegetable extracts so it is very safe to use as there are no harsh chemicals. The aromatherapy oils help to deter flies and mites. Stable + is sold as a concentrate that you dilute with water and apply using a misting spray, so it is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It can also be used in your trailer or horsebox too..
Delta-sec Bedding Conditioner. I am very impressed by Delta-sec bedding conditioner. It is so easy to use, you simply add a very small amount into your horse’s bedding. It is made from natural ingredients, it is safe to use and smells lovely. The main benefits I discovered were when mucking out my horse’s stable smelt fresh as the Delta-sec neutralises the nasty ammonia smell. It absorbs dampness so less bedding is removed and mucking out is quicker too. As it helps to reduce bacteria it also helps to maintain a healthier environment for my horse’s respiratory system. So if you are fed up of the nasty stable smell that clings to your clothes after mucking out banish it for good by using Delta-sec. Try it and I am sure you will agree it is a great product that makes a big difference for both you and your horse.
Equimins Stable Fresh Disinfectant Powder. I stable my horse on rubber matting and shavings. The Equimins Stable Fresh Dry Bed Disinfectant Powder is great for disinfecting the stable. It helps to remove nasty smells at the same time as killing viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. Being a powder it saves you having to deal with wet disinfecting, the hard work of sweeping away excess water and the problem of drying wet floors. I am a big fan of powdered disinfectants and this one smells good and small amount goes a long way.
